Auditions:
Sunday, May 5 beginning at 1 p.m. at Vermillion High School’s Thomas H. Craig Center for the Performing Arts.

If you are not able to attend auditions on Sunday, May 5th, please prepare a video file of your singing and acting audition.  Send the appropriate audition forms to our Stage Manager at Ansley.Eddy@coyotes.usd.edu. Ansley will provide you further instruction for uploading your video.

Wednesday, May 8 starting at 6 p.m. at the Knutson Theatre in the Lee Fine Arts Center at USD.

General Information:
This ambitious VCT production features numerous roles for actors of all genders and ages. This show has room for many young actors, provided they have completed kindergarten. Those interested in auditioning should show up on May 5th having printed and filled out the following forms:

• Audition Sheet
• Rehearsal Conflict Calendar
• Photo Release and Waiver of Liability

Those auditioning should be prepared to perform assigned selections from the musical which are posted here in both written and audio formats.

Also, please select one of the passages from this document to perform at your audition along with your song. You can pick one that matches a role you are interested in playing, or you can just pick one that sounds fun! This is your chance to quickly show off your acting skills and emotional range, so make sure to pick a passage that speaks to you! Memorization is not required. You may attempt accents, but they are not required for the initial audition; we are more interested in hearing how you read the lines.
