Application to Perform


Calendar info:

  1. June 11th - Applications open
  2. June 25th - Applications Close
  3. July 2nd - Applicants hear whether they have been selected
  4. July 9th - VGT dress rehearsal - all acts will need to be present
  5. July 10th - show time

If you have back up tracks, we will need these to be submitted ASAP after contestants are announced.  For those planning to use background tracks, the software we use specifies formats of AIFF, WAV, CAF, AAC, MP4, MP3, with MP3 being a last resort. WAV files are probably the most common. Let us know if you anticipate any issues with format, as we can help convert most types of files if we know about them in advance.Dropbox or Google Drive will work fine for sharing files with us.
 
If you have not heard from us within ONE WEEK of submitting application – please contact us thru the “Ask VCT LINK”.
 

The way you want it to appear in the program.

Please list the names of all performers.

Age division does not include an accompanist. For example, if you are under 18 with an adult accompanist – you would still be under 18. If the group is a mix of adults and kids, then you would qualify for the over 18 division.

Equipment available: 6 cordless mics, keyboard, ability to play back-up tracks.

If you would like, please upload a video of your act to YouTube and put its URL here. You can use an “unlisted” URL so it is not publicly available. This can be a simple smart phone video and will only be used for application purposes.

Be specific (ie: pets and names, schools you’ve attended and/or graduated from, towns/states you’ve lived, favorite vacation destination, unusual talents like juggling/yodeling/etc., awards and degrees earned, clubs and associations you’ve belonged to, nicknames growing up, most embarrassing moment, list of jobs you’ve had, ideal career choice, all instruments you play)
